St. Olave’s Church
A Eucharist is held at 9.30am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. This church is usually open on weekdays for private prayer and reflection.
The church is dedicated to Saint Olaf, an 11th century King of Norway who was killed in battle.
This was originally an 11th century chapel possibly built for King Harold’s mother Gytha. Most of the existing building is late medieval.
