St. Stephen’s Church

A Communion service is held at 10.30am on the first Sunday of each month and sometimes on the fifth Sunday of a month.

On the third Sundays of each month, there is crossing Place. This is a form of morning prayer, usually lay-led, and often including time for discussion and/or quiet reflection.

St Stephen was the first Christian martyr – he was stoned to death shortly after Christ’s crucifixion.

Founded in Anglo-Saxon times, this building has been variously remodelled throughout the centuries.
