We are the Parish of Central Exeter
The Parish of Central Exeter comprises the churches of St Stephen, St Olave, St Petrock, St Pancras and St Mary Arches. All date from medieval times. St Martins Church was also at one time part of the parish, but is now in the care of the Historic Churches Preservation Trust. The parish is part of the Diocese of Exeter within the Church of England.
The parish is responsible for these five ancient churches in the heart of the city, details of which can be found on this website. It is our wish to see these buildings used appropriately for the benefit of the whole community, and we are working hard to achieve that goal.
Open & Welcoming
The Parish of Central Exeter strives to be an open, welcoming Christian community exploring the meaning of faith today, through worship and prayer, discussion and reflection, and action in the City and where we live and work.
Our weekday and Sunday services draw people from across Exeter who seek a Christian community in which the gospel of love, forgiveness and compassion overrides all else, and where doubts as well as faith can be explored. Service times and locations are subject to occasional variations. please see notice boards.
